Even though all current evidence shows normal conditions, please use sensible water conservation measures over the 4th of July weekend. Please do not fill and use Jacuzzi baths, do not do laundry or take long showers. Be sensible and Water Wise!

Coolfont Mountainside Association
Coolfont Mountainside Association (CMA) is a small community located near the town of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. The community has been in existence since 1969, and is nearly 400 acres in size. The area is primarily a seasonal and weekend retreat, but several of the homeowners reside year-round.
The Berkeley Springs area of West Virginia is less than a two-hour drive from major metropolitan areas such as Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland. It is best known for its warm mineral springs and is famous for being the country’s first ‘spa’, frequented by Native Americans long before the first European settlers appeared. This part of West Virginia is rich in history and natural beauty, and draws thousands of visitors each year.
The CMA is situated at the bottom of a slope near Sir Johns Run of the Potomac River. Nestled on the eastern side of Cacapon Mountain, the topography rises from almost flat to a slope of approximately 30 percent. Elevation within the community ranges between 800 and 1,200 feet above sea level.
